Live Today! ;-)

Today may not be the most exciting day in my life. In fact, it might be quite ordinary or even worse – something could happen that will inevitably put me in a bad mood (happens often). Today things will happen that I didn’t expect or plan but I know God expected it, God planned it. For whatever reason, all the things that are going to happen today to me are going to happen for a reason – for God’s grand purpose.
So it’s my job to make the best of it. It’s my job to be happy with whatever life throws at me today, because as a Christian I know God is in it.

“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”Psalm 118:24

During difficult times, we are tempted to become passive while waiting for a storm of life to pass. But God invites us to actively pursue the opportunities at hand instead of lamenting over what we don’t have.
Because the Lord has made this day, we can look past the closed doors to see people and opportunities we had previously overlooked. In celebrating their value, we will discover joy and gladness from God.
You don’t have to worry about eyestrain from looking on the brighter side of life. Look at today only, God allowed you to open your eyes and your heart is still beating.
